WATCHES & AUTHENTICITY
How can I be sure my watch is authentic?
All Soren watches come with a Soren Certified Warranty Card that displays the watch’s unique serial number. The serial number on the card must match the serial number engraved inside the watch. You can always verify the authenticity of your watch by contacting support@sorenwatches.com
What is the difference between quartz and automatic?
Quartz watches are powered by a battery and are extremely precise, but require periodic battery replacements. Automatic watches, on the other hand, are powered by the movement of your wrist and do not require a battery. All Soren watches are automatic, as this provides superior quality, craftsmanship, and longevity compared to quartz movements.
Are your watches Swiss-made?
All Soren watches proudly carry the Swiss Made label. This hallmark guarantees a quality standard that has been recognized for centuries and is now known worldwide as a symbol of excellence. The Swiss Made label provides our customers with additional confidence in the craftsmanship and durability of the watch they wear.
Is the watch water-resistant?
All Soren watches are water-resistant. The exact rating (e.g., 100 m / 10 ATM) is specified on the product page and engraved on the case back. This ensures that your watch can withstand everyday exposure to water, such as handwashing or rain.
How should I care for my watch?
To keep your Soren watch in optimal condition, avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields. Clean it regularly with a soft cloth, avoid harsh chemicals, and ensure the crown is fully closed before contact with water. Proper care will maintain its performance and appearance for years.
Does the watch come with its original packaging and warranty card?
Yes, every Soren watch comes in a luxury watch box and includes an international warranty card. The card displays the purchase date, model, and unique serial number, ensuring both authenticity and warranty coverage.

WARRANTY & REPAIRS

No, the warranty does not cover water damage outside the specifications or normal wear and tear, including scratches.
How can I get my watch repaired?
You can contact us directly at support@sorenwatches.com or visit a specialized watchmaker, as most movements are easy to repair. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to us for assistance.
Is the warranty valid worldwide?
Yes, the warranty is valid worldwide as long as the watch was purchased through an authorized Soren retailer or our official website.
Do I need to keep my receipt and warranty card?
Yes, this is very important. Your receipt and warranty card verify the authenticity of your watch and confirm that it is eligible for warranty coverage.
What is covered by the warranty?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the watch itself, including defects in the movement, errors in assembly or construction, and defects in parts caused by an incorrect production process. If a defect falls under these conditions within the warranty period, Soren Watches will repair the watch free of charge or replace it with an equivalent model. The decision to repair or replace is made by Soren Watches.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (such as straps, glass, or battery), damage from improper use, accidents, falls, or bumps, water damage caused by misuse, unauthorized repairs or modifications, or loss/theft of the watch. Watches that have been opened, modified, or repaired by anyone other than an authorized Soren Watches technician automatically void their warranty.
USING YOUR WATCH
Where is the crown and how do I open it?
The crown sits on the right side of the case at 3 o'clock. On both the Momentis and the Oceanic it is a screw-down crown, sealed against the case to keep the watch water-resistant. Turn it counter-clockwise until it releases outward. After adjusting, always screw it back down clockwise until it stops. Your watch is not water-resistant unless the crown is fully screwed in.
How do I set the time?
Unscrew the crown and pull it out to the second position. The seconds hand stops. Turn the crown to move the hands. Watch the date as you go: if it changes, you have passed midnight rather than noon. Push the crown back in and screw it down.
How do I set the date?
Unscrew the crown and pull it out to the first position, one click. Turn the crown forward until the correct date appears. Push it back in and screw it down.
Avoid changing the date between roughly 21:00 and 03:00. The date mechanism is already engaged during those hours and forcing it can cause damage. Set the hands to around 6 o'clock first, then set the date, then set the correct time.
My watch has stopped. What now?
That is normal. An automatic watch needs motion and will stop after sitting unworn for a day or two. Unscrew the crown and turn it clockwise about 20 to 30 times in the pushed-in position. The watch starts running. Set the time and date, screw the crown down, and put it on. Your own movement keeps it wound from there.
How long does it run once I take it off?
The Sellita SW200-1 holds a power reserve of roughly 38 hours. Worn daily, it stays wound on its own. Leave it off over a weekend and it will have stopped by Monday, ready to be wound and set again. If you rotate between watches, a watch winder solves this.
Can I overwind my watch?
No. The movement has a slipping clutch that protects the mainspring, so winding cannot damage it. When you feel resistance, it is fully wound and you can stop. Never force the crown into a position it does not want to go.
